  • Hil (5'3", UK 10/12, 34EE bust): the empire waist sits just under the bust — exactly where she wants it. The skirt flows away over the tum (flattering and forgiving) and the V-neck is off her actual neckline without going too low.
  • Sue (5'0", UK 6): the length is generous on her petite frame — falls to just above the knee. Empire-line styles work beautifully on her; she'd add a thin belt at the embroidered band if she wants to define it further.
