Description

Taupe is the lurex vest for people who think they don't wear lurex. The warm, soft greige tone keeps the shimmer completely in check — it's present, it catches the light, but it never shouts. The result is a vest top that feels right through every season but comes into its own in autumn and winter, when the warmth of taupe sits beautifully against all the dark neutrals you're already reaching for.

Same brilliant construction as the other Faye vests: wide straps so a proper bra works, a length (62cm) that tucks neatly or wears loose, and a lurex fabric that skims and reflects rather than clings.

Composition: 64% Viscose, 17% Polyester, 14% Nylon, 5% Elastane.

Wash inside out on a delicate cycle at 30°. Wash with similar colours only. Do not tumble dry — dry flat and store folded.

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Available in S/M, M/L and L/XL. Hil takes S/M for a close, tucked-in fit. Sue is always S/M. If you want a little more ease for layering — and with this one you absolutely will — size up to M/L.
