Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

This shirt is made from 100% cotton with no stretch, so we recommend going true to size for a comfortable, flattering fit.

  • Hil is 5'3" and a standard UK 10/12 – she wears the Medium for a neat, comfortable fit that isn’t pulling across the bust. She would not size down due to the structured, non-stretch fabric.
  • Sue is 5'0" and a standard UK 6 – she wears the Small, which gives her a relaxed-but-not-oversized silhouette. She wouldn’t size down as she prefers a little ease through the body.

General Rule: With woven cotton (especially when there’s no elastane), always allow a little room for movement. Natural fibres don’t stretch, but they do soften beautifully with wear and washing.

If you’re between sizes, we’d suggest sizing up rather than down for comfort.
