Description

The party is all in the collar — an oversized, layered sailor-style collar in deep cobalt, embroidered with little white flowers and trimmed with a delicate picot edge. The body of the blouse is properly simple in comparison: clean lines, short sleeves, a neat button-through front, sitting at the natural waist.

It's cut in a 50% cotton, 50% Lyocell blend, which is the reason it feels so good on — soft, breathable, with the very slightest sheen to the fabric that lifts the cobalt and makes it look properly expensive.

Wear it with anything plain on the bottom and let the collar take centre stage. That's the whole job.

  • Hil (5'3", size 10/12, 34EE bust): in the S. She wants this neat — the collar already does all the volume work, so the body wants to be close to the frame. The wide V at the collar opens out and gives her the off-neck shape she likes.
  • Sue (5'0", size 6): in the XS — the collar covers most of her shoulder line and reads as a feature, not a swamp.

The cotton-Lyocell blend has no stretch but a soft, supple hand — take your usual size, don't size up.
