Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

This cardigan has a neat, easy fit rather than an oversized shape, so it’s ideal if you like your layers to look tidy under jackets or coats.

Hil is 5'3" and a standard UK 10/12. She would take her usual size for a flattering, easy fit. If she wanted a little more room for layering over shirts, she could size up.
Sue is 5'0" and a standard UK 6. She would wear her usual size for a close, neat fit. If she wanted it slightly more relaxed for layering over summer dresses or camis, she could size up.

General rule: because this is a fine knit with viscose in the blend, it has a soft drape and easy feel. If you prefer a neater silhouette, stay with your usual size; if you like a more relaxed cardigan for layering, size up.

We love a cardigan that quietly gets on with everything, and this one really does. It’s light enough for spring and summer layering, but still useful through autumn and winter under jackets and coats. The viscose blend gives it that soft drape we always look for, and the simple shape makes it endlessly wearable. It’s also a lovely option for those moments when you want a light extra layer without anything heavy or clingy.

Hil’s look – polished everyday layering: Hil would wear the Zubasic Cardigan over a simple vest with tailored trousers or a printed skirt, then add a leather belt, statement earrings and a bright lip to give it that pulled-together finish she loves.

Sue’s look – pared-back and easy: Sue would throw it over a cami or simple tee with skinny jeans or denim shorts and her favourite chunky trainers or stacked boots. She’d also wear it over a floaty dress on cooler days when she wants that soft layered look without too much fuss.

This is such a useful little cardigan for summer styling — perfect with shorts, skirts and sleeveless dresses when the weather is warm but not quite warm enough to go without a layer. It also works brilliantly tucked into your bag for evenings away, holidays and everyday wear.
