These 100% cotton shorts are the sort of warm-weather staple you’ll reach for on repeat. How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Hil is 5'3" and a standard UK 10/12 – she would wear the Medium for a comfortable, easy fit.

Sue is 5'0" and a standard UK 6 – she would wear the XS for a neater fit.

Because of the elasticated waist, these shorts have a forgiving fit through the middle, which makes them especially easy and comfortable to wear. If you prefer a more relaxed fit through the leg, we’d suggest sizing up. If you like a neater shape, stay with your usual size.

General rule: with natural cotton, you’re not getting lots of stretch in the fabric itself, but you are getting breathability and softness. Choose your size based on how relaxed you’d like them to sit, especially through the waist and hip.
