  • Hil (5'3", UK 10/12): would take the 40. The stretch is kind across the tummy, holds its shape, and the 3/4 length sits beautifully on shorter legs without needing taking up.
  • Sue (5'0", UK 6): would take the 34. 3/4 length on a petite frame hits at the perfect ankle-skimming point — no alteration needed.
  • General: stretch denim has give and recovers well, so order your usual size with confidence.
