Description

A little bit of wool goes a long way. The Silly Cardigan from Pieces has a touch of certified wool knitted through it for softness and warmth, and a sprinkle of stretch so it moves with you. It comes in Tawny Port, a deep, rich wine shade that looks good enough to drink.

It's cropped short with a round neck, a button front and short sleeves. The fit is loose and easy, so it sits nicely over high-waisted jeans and trousers.

Now, a quick word about the name. We honestly have no idea why Pieces called this the Silly Cardigan, because it's anything but silly. It's a really useful, not-at-all-silly little knit that you'll be layering from now until spring. Answers on a postcard, please.

The main yarn is at least 50% recycled polyester, so it's kinder to the planet too.

How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Available in M and L. It's a loose fit and cropped short, so it's designed to sit easily rather than snugly. If you're in between sizes, the looser cut gives you room to go either way.
