Description

The Sharky Adventure Scuff in Camel is, in Hil's words, one of the most beautiful shoes on the shop. Lined throughout with premium Australian sheepskin and finished in warm camel suede, it has the softness of a slipper with the rugged Sharky rubber sole that means you can actually leave the house in it. The Camel colourway is, incidentally, the exact same shade as Reggie — Sue's beautiful dog. Whether this makes the shoe more or less likely to confuse him is yet to be established.

The bold Aztec-inspired embroidered trim around the ankle and intricate stitching throughout give this scuff a real design personality — the kind of detail you don't expect at the price and don't stop noticing once you've seen it. A backless slip-on with a 2.5cm Sharky sole: built for the back door step, the school run, the dog walk.

Emu Australia grew out of Jacksons Tannery, which began in 1948, with a founding idea that's held ever since: that nature is the best inventor and they're just following her lead. Everything they make is built around sustainable, natural materials — sheepskin, suede, wool — engineered for quality that lasts rather than footwear you replace each season.

Styling Suggestions

Both Hil and Sue wear theirs with their cropped Toxik Keira jeans — the 7/8 distressed hem is made for a scuff like this. Hil adds the Sabriel Jacket in Dark Oak from Saint Tropez — chocolate and camel is a classic warm-neutral combination. Sue reaches for the Samantha Jacket in Portabella — the plush teddy coat and the camel scuff is a textural, boho-warm pairing. Equally good with wide-leg trousers and an oversized knit for a relaxed weekend look.
