The Roll-Neck Asymmetric Knit from Y London in Burgundy is the properly cosy winter version of the beloved Asymmetric family — the same clever asymmetric shape we know and love, this time with a soft roll neck that sits fixed at the throat for proper autumn-into-winter warmth. Where the classic Asymmetrics can be worn on-or-off the shoulder, this Roll-Neck version has the neckline sitting neatly at the collarbone all day.

The fabrication is where this knit properly earns its place: 50% viscose with 27% polyester and 23% polyamide. The viscose leads the blend for that lovely silky-drape hand-feel against the skin, and the polyester-polyamide gives the knit proper shape retention and durability so it holds through wear and wash. A fine knit that feels good on the body.

The Burgundy is the shade of the season — a rich, deep autumnal red-purple that plays with every warm neutral, every denim wash, and every considered black or chocolate piece in your capsule.

Hil has the classic (off-shoulder-able) Asymmetric in every colour — she would, wouldn't she? Graham is irritated by this as he finds them everywhere... this new Roll-Neck version has now been added to the collection, and Hil thinks it's genuinely her favourite yet: the proper winter iteration of a shape she already loves. You have to try this to believe it.
