  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Styling Suggestions

Hil wears hers exactly as pictured: over the Sofia Shirt in Light Blue, which gives that beautiful sky-blue collar and cuff detail at the neckline and wrists. She finishes the look with the Alder Jean in Chocolate underneath — chocolate on chocolate, offset by that clean blue collar, and it is absolutely the right call. Sue takes the same layering approach but reaches for the Tia Barrel Jean in Chocolate Brown instead, which she wears in the extra small. Two women, one vest, same instinct.
