The fabric is 100% organic cotton, and because Lily & Me design and manufacture in their own factory in Kathmandu, Nepal — the family business founded by Amelia and Hari in 2007 — their organic credentials are backed by full visibility through the supply chain. Organic farming avoids harmful chemicals and benefits both the land and the people who work it; when a brand owns its factory, you can be sure of that story. The print is Painter's Posy: a gentle scatter of miniature blooms in that quietly uplifting way that only a really well-drawn ditsy floral pulls off.
