Primula Black Pussybow Blouse

The Primula Black Pussybow Blouse from One Hundred Stars is a proper investment piece of beautifully considered print — a classic pussybow blouse in a rich black base scattered with the exquisite Primula print, a blooming bouquet of primroses, auriculas and polyanthus flowers in cream, warm pinks and grown-up naturals. Inspired by the Dutch Old Masters (yes, really), which is exactly why the print reads so painterly and considered.

The fabrication is where this blouse earns its £72: 50% modal, 50% cupro — the same silky natural-fibre-derived blend as OHS's Kimonos and Scarves. Modal comes from sustainably-sourced beech wood, cupro from reclaimed cotton linter waste. Together they create a fabric that feels genuinely silky against the skin, drapes properly, and catches the light beautifully.

The design is a classic pussybow: self-tie ribbon at the neckline (an integral part of the piece — not detachable — but tie it in a proper bow, a loose knot, or leave it undone and open for a more relaxed neckline), long sleeves, button-front placket through the body, regular fit through the shoulders and body. Feminine, considered, deeply grown-up.

A note on sizing: genuinely not fit-critical. Both Hil and Sue wear the S-M in One Hundred Stars — the OHS cut is generous enough to work for both. The S-M covers Sue's petite frame through to a comfortable 14; the M-L works up to a 16 easily.
