Description

The Mobbe Top from b.young — the Danish brand for laid-back, properly-cut basics — is a quiet little hero. A soft ribbed knit in parfait pink (a warm, creamy pink with a gentle marl effect that gives the colour real depth rather than reading as flat), finished with a low-cut V-neckline and a subtle border detail. The combination is properly grown-up — pretty without trying, soft without going sweet.

The fabric is a viscose-led blend (80% viscose, with a touch of polyamide and other fibres for stretch and shape), so it skims rather than clings, feels like nothing on the skin, and only gets softer with wear. The kind of top you wear under a blazer for polished, with denim for easy, or on its own when the weather is being kind.

  • Hil (UK 10/12, 5'3", 34EE): takes the M. Ribbed knits skim the body rather than float over it, so the cut sits close — the low V flatters her bust and the rib lengthens the line.
  • Sue (UK 6, 5'0"): takes the S. Easy and close-fitting on her petite frame.
  • General note: ribbed knits cling more than woven tops, so size up if you prefer more ease across the bust or tummy. The viscose-poly blend has give, and only softens with wear.
