Description

The Lulu Flower Bracelet in Coral is one of those pieces that earns its place on your wrist the moment you put it on. In coral — warm, vivid, properly summery — with delicate flower-shaped beads punctuated by small gold-plated accents and finished with IBU's signature brass 14K gold button closure, it has the quality feel of something that costs considerably more than £25.

The IBU collective behind every piece is made up of female artisans in Bali, many of whom came together through difficult circumstances and now work from their own homes while raising their families. The income from the collective lets them school their children and build independence on their own terms. IBU means "woman" and "mother" in Indonesian — and that spirit of strength, care and quiet craft runs through this bracelet as much as it runs through the most statement pieces in the range.

At £25, the Lulu Flower Bracelet is the best possible entry point into IBU. It stacks beautifully with other pieces in the range and holds its own worn alone.

Features
  • Coral flower-shaped beads with gold-plated accents
  • Brass 14K gold IBU signature button closure
  • Adjustable fit: 16.5–18cm
  • Handmade by female artisans in Bali as part of the IBU collective
Care Instructions

Keep your gold-plated jewellery away from chemicals, oils, and makeup. Remove before swimming or bathing. Apply perfume before putting it on rather than after — this preserves the finish for longer.

Size Guide

Adjustable and fits wrist sizes 16.5–18cm comfortably.

Why We Love It

Because IBU make jewellery with real soul behind it. The female artisan collective in Bali produce every piece by hand, and the income from the collective supports school fees, family independence, and the ability for talented women to work on their own terms. IBU means "woman" and "mother" in Bahasa Indonesian — and every piece in the range carries that meaning. The Lulu Flower Bracelet in Coral was handpicked for us by Sue, our IBU buyer at Wardrobe at The Cross, who approaches her IBU selections with the same obsessive eye she brings to everything.

Styling Suggestions

Sue — our IBU buyer — wears this stacked with two or three other IBU bracelets on one wrist: the coral against gold-toned and mixed-metal pieces, her hair loose. It goes on in summer and doesn't come off until autumn has properly arrived. Hil wears hers solo or with a simple gold bangle — the coral adding a shot of colour against a white shirt or linen blouse. Both women agree: at £25, you buy two.
