The Lia Hiver Knit Top from King Louie — hiver means winter in French, and if you're wearing this, you'll know exactly why they named it that. This is the knit that keeps you genuinely cheerful from November to February: a proper, unapologetic fiery red in a luxurious blend of 40% polyamide, 30% alpaca and 30% wool that's warmer and softer than you'd dare to hope. Look closely and you'll find the detail that makes it truly special: knitted vertical stripes with eyelet and texture work along the shoulders and running under the sleeves — considered, architectural and completely King Louie. The wide round neckline sits beautifully and makes it the easiest thing to style all winter long. Available in XS to XL.

Care Instructions

40% polyamide, 30% alpaca, 30% wool. Hand wash or machine wash inside out at 30° on a delicate programme. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat to dry.

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Styling Suggestions

Hil wears the Lia Hiver tucked into high-waisted tailored trousers for a sharp autumn look, or pairs it with a satin slip skirt and boots for something more evening. A denim skirt with boots and tights brings it right back to its King Louie vintage-modern roots.

Sue wears it with her cropped Keira Toxik jeans and stacked boots — or reaches for her Collette Toxik jeans to carry that floral motif right through into autumn/winter. Fiery red and florals: a combination only Sue would think of, and it works beautifully.
