How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

The Larissa Trouser has a fluid fit with a flexible waist, making them very forgiving and easy to wear.

· Hil is 5'3" and a UK 10/12. She would take her usual size, and on her these sit as a soft ankle-grazer.

· Sue is 5'0" and a UK size 6. She would also stick with her usual size, and on her they fall as a full-length trouser.

If you’re 5'5" and above, expect more of a true 7/8 length. If you’re petite, they transition beautifully into a full-length style.

General rule: being 100% cotton, there’s minimal stretch in the fabric itself, but the elasticated waist gives added comfort and ease. Stay true to size for a relaxed, easy fit.

Styling Suggestions

Hil’s look: Hil would wear her usual size and style them with a crisp shirt tucked in, adding a leather belt over the elasticated waist for a more polished feel. Finish with loafers or a low heel, statement earrings, and a blazer.

Sue’s look: Sue would wear her usual size and embrace the relaxed feel, styling them as a full-length trouser with a soft tee or blouse and her chunky trainers or stacked boots. She’d layer with a cardigan or jacket for that effortless, boho edge.

These are perfect for days when you want comfort but still feel pulled together. Add a knit and trainers for daytime, or swap in a blouse and jewellery to elevate them for evening.
