Kim Printed Jacket

The Kim is unlike anything else in the collection — and quite possibly unlike anything else you own.

This is Emily Lovelock's sleeveless jacket, and it works two ways: buttoned up as a waistcoat, a complete statement in its own right, or layered open over a long-sleeved top — as shown here over a simple black base — where it becomes the most extraordinary short jacket. Either way, the effect is the same: heads turn.

The print is a signature Emily Lovelock design — a tightly worked geometric floral in bronze, gold and dusty rose on a deep black ground, developed entirely in-house and produced in limited runs. It's intricate and rich without being busy, and the dark ground means it wears effortlessly with black, navy, burgundy and camel. But the real stars of this piece are the buttons: individually crafted metal hearts, ornate and beautifully detailed, which run down the front and are worth the price of entry on their own.

Structured shoulders, a notched collar and a gathered hem give the Kim its distinctive architectural shape. It holds its form and it commands a room.
