The Haga T-Shirt from Saint Tropez proves that the most useful thing in a wardrobe is sometimes the most deceptively simple. Black. Short sleeves. Clean round neck. But made from 58% Viscose, 38% Metallic Yarn and 4% Elastane — which means there's a barely-there shimmer running through every thread that lifts it completely out of the realm of the ordinary.

Gentle machine wash at 30°C. Wash with similar colours. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron directly onto the fabric — if pressing is needed, turn inside out and use a cool iron.

How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

True to size. Hil is a size 10/12 and would take an M for a relaxed fit or an S for something a little closer. Sue is a size 6 and takes XS. The 4% elastane gives a comfortable ease without feeling fitted.

It's a black t-shirt. We know. But it's a black t-shirt that shimmers. Saint Tropez have taken the most universal wardrobe basic and done something genuinely clever with it — the metallic yarn is woven through so subtly that it doesn't read as party wear, just as quality. Throw it on under a blazer and it looks intentional. Wear it with jeans for an evening out and no one is questioning your choices.

Hil tucks hers into high-waisted wide-leg trousers and adds statement earrings — the shimmer catches the light beautifully and does enough that she doesn't need much else. Under a longer cardigan or an open jacket it's equally good.

Sue layers hers under an open overshirt, letting the shimmer show at the neckline and hem. With cropped jeans and stacked boots, it's a very easy evening look with very little effort.

This is a t-shirt that works harder than it looks. The shimmer makes it evening-appropriate without being over the top; the round neck and relaxed cut keep it entirely wearable. As autumn comes in, it becomes the piece you reach for when you want to feel a little more dressed without actually trying harder.
