Description

A properly easy weekend sweatshirt with a small bit of personality. The Greta from Pieces — the Danish label that does Scandi essentials with a quiet polish — lands in a soft cream and tawny port stripe (Cloud Dancer cream and a deep, grown-up burgundy red), finished with a subtle embellished detail that lifts it out of standard sweatshirt territory. Long sleeves, a clean crew neckline, regular length.

The fabric blend is the bit you'll feel against the skin: 80% cotton for breathability and softness, with a touch of polyester for shape retention and viscose for drape. Properly soft, gets softer with wear.

A note on fit: this one comes up generously. We've listed it as a standard fit, but if you stick to your usual size, expect a relaxed, slightly oversized feel — which is exactly how plenty of people like their sweatshirts. If you want a cleaner shape, size down (Hil normally takes a Medium in this kind of piece and is happy in the Small here; Sue's gone for the XS).

Care Instructions

Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle. Turn inside out to protect the stripe and the embellished detail. Avoid the tumble dryer where you can (the cotton dominant blend will hold its shape better hung to dry). Iron on warm if needed, on the reverse side to avoid pressing the embellishment.
