The pearl is the real thing — natural freshwater, slightly oval, with that quiet, lit-from-within glow you only get from the genuine article. No two pairs are exactly the same. The chain itself is triple gold-plated stainless steel, which means hypoallergenic, completely tarnish-free, and properly waterproof on the gold side of things. The pearl deserves a touch more care (more on that below) but the rest you can wear to the gym and forget about.

Care Instructions

The gold chain is the usual TARKA story — triple gold plating on stainless steel, properly waterproof, sweatproof and tarnish-free. The natural freshwater pearl is a touch more delicate. Wipe the pearl gently with a soft cloth after wearing in the sea, the pool or anywhere particularly humid, and try to keep perfume and hairspray off it (last on, first off is the rule with real pearls). Store flat in a pouch so the pearl stays scratch-free.
