Description

Meet the Geranium Soap from The End of the Avenue — a proper little bar of hand-poured, small-batch loveliness made locally in Neston, with all the botanical care that makes handmade soap feel like a genuine treat rather than an everyday chore.

Cold-processed by hand in tiny batches, this bar is built on a base of nourishing rapeseed oil and coconut wax, blended with clays, botanicals and pure geranium essential oil. Geranium is one of those quietly gorgeous scents — softly floral, subtly rose-like, and beautifully balancing on the skin. The kind of shower scent that lifts a morning without shouting for attention.

The natural glycerin is left in (most commercial soaps strip it out), which means proper skin-softening from a bar you'd actually want to leave on the side of the sink. No sulphates, no parabens, no synthetic fragrance, no palm oil. Just proper considered ingredients doing proper considered work.

We stock End of the Avenue because it's made just down the road in Neston, in small batches, by hand — and honestly, both Hil and Sue use these in their own homes. A local, considered treat.

Features
  • Cold-processed by hand in small batches in Neston, Cheshire
  • Ingredients: rapeseed oil, coconut wax, clays, botanicals and pure geranium essential oil
  • Scent: softly floral, subtly rose-like — quietly gorgeous
  • Natural glycerin left in — properly skin-softening, no tight dry after-feel
  • Free from: sulphates, parabens, synthetic fragrance, palm oil
  • Weight: approximately 100g
  • Plastic-free packaging — biodegradable, considered from start to finish
Care Instructions
  • Keep on a well-drained soap dish between uses — the bar will last considerably longer
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • The natural glycerin means the bar stays soft on skin but is best kept out of standing water when not in use
  • For external use only — avoid contact with eyes
Size Guide
  • One bar, approximately 100g
  • Handmade natural bars vary slightly in colour, pattern and weight — that's part of the charm, not a flaw
Why We Love It
  • Made locally in Neston, in small batches, by hand — you don't get more considered than that.
  • Both Hil and Sue use these at home — they're not just stocked, they're personally endorsed.
  • Geranium is the quietly beautiful floral that lifts a morning without dominating it.
  • Natural glycerin is what proper soap should have — no tight, dry after-feel.
  • £5 for a bar that punches well above its weight — kind on sensitive skin, plastic-free packaging, biodegradable.
Styling Suggestions
  • On the bath side or by the sink for a daily treat — the scent quietly lifts every hand-wash.
  • Wrap in tissue paper and tie with twine for a lovely little host or teacher gift.
  • Pair with one of the End of the Avenue candles for a properly considered gift set from one local Neston maker.
  • Perfect as a small stocking filler, birthday extra, or new-home welcome.
