Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Fit: Relaxed through the body with gentle volume in the sleeves.

Sue (5'0", UK size 6, wearing the 8): Sue wears the size 8 for an easy relaxed fit. The lightweight cotton drapes nicely without overwhelming her petite frame, and the length works well worn loose over jeans or tucked slightly at the front.

Hil (5'3", UK size 10/12, wearing the 10): Hil wears the size 10, which gives her a flattering relaxed silhouette without feeling oversized. The pintuck detailing adds structure while still keeping the blouse comfortable through the waist and bust.

General Rule: Natural cotton fabrics don’t have stretch but soften beautifully with wear. If you prefer a more relaxed, floaty look, you could comfortably size up.

Sue’s Look – Relaxed & Effortless: Sue would wear it loose with skinny jeans and chunky trainers, layering it under a cosy cardigan or denim jacket. The soft collar peeking out from knitwear is very much her vibe.
