The Erna V-Neck Jumper from Black Colour in Burgundy is a properly cheerful cosy knit — a soft mohair-blend jumper in a deep rich burgundy base with an eye-catching checkered pattern in warm hues. The fabrication is where this jumper properly earns its £90: 30% mohair, 40% acrylic, 30% polyamide — the same lovely mohair-blend as our Alana Cardigan. The mohair is the hero — it's the natural fibre that gives the knit its beautifully soft brushed haloed texture, warm and light at the same time. Mohair comes from Angora goats and has a proper luxurious hand-feel. The acrylic and polyamide give the shape structure and durability so it holds through wear and wash.

The design is easy and grown-up: flattering V-neckline (properly generous — opens the chest, lengthens the neck), long sleeves with ribbed cuffs for classic structure, relaxed silhouette through the body. The V-neck is exactly why this jumper reads elegant rather than schoolgirl.
