Made from 100% organic cotton, it feels breathable, soft and light, with a beautifully feminine shape thanks to the shirred fitted bodice, underbust seams and relaxed midi skirt.

The V-neckline, button front and short sleeves keep it pretty but unfussy, while the elasticated waist gives that lovely comfort we all appreciate — flattering without feeling restrictive. And yes, it has pockets.

Care Instructions

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Wash with similar colours, reshape whilst damp and hang to dry. Avoid tumble drying to maintain the shape and colour.

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Hil is 5'3" and a standard UK size 10/12. She wears the 10 for a neater fit through the shirred bodice, as the stretch gives flexibility while still holding its shape.

Sue is 5'0" and a standard UK size 6. She wears the 8 for a slightly more relaxed, easy feel through the bust and waist.

General Rule: Cotton doesn’t naturally stretch, but the shirred bodice and elasticated waist make this very forgiving. The fabric will soften more with wear over time.
