Description

The Dasik Cropped Trousers in Marshmallow are, in fact, beautifully soft corduroy – and we’re very here for it. Think fine needle cord with a creamy marshmallow tone that works with everything from winter knits to crisp spring shirting.

Cut to a modern 7/8th length, these cords strike that sweet spot between relaxed and refined. A discreet front pin tuck seam runs down each leg, creating the effect of a soft knife pleat. It’s subtle – still very much casual leaning – but it gives that extra little nod to formality so they feel intentional rather than ordinary.

Importantly, there is stretch in these. So you get structure, but not stiffness. They move with you, making them comfortable enough for all-day wear while still holding their shape beautifully.

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

These have stretch, which makes them far more forgiving than traditional rigid cord.

Hil (5'3", UK 10/12) would take her usual size 10 for a neat, streamlined fit. On Hil, they sit as a true 7/8th length – showing a little ankle and perfect for ankle boots or loafers. If she preferred a slightly more relaxed fit through the hip, she could try the 12, but she’d likely stay true to size thanks to the stretch.

Sue (5'0", UK 6) would take her usual size 6. On Sue, these are full length rather than cropped – which she loves, especially with chunky trainers or stacked boots. The stretch keeps them comfortable and easy without feeling restrictive.

General Rule: Because there is stretch, buy for your waist. If you’re between sizes and prefer a neater fit, you can size down. If you like a little more ease through the hip and thigh, stay true to size.

She’d style them with a slouchy knit, layered tee underneath and a crossbody bag. No belt. Effortless, slightly undone, but still subtly tailored thanks to that front pin tuck.

We love them styled tonally with creams and taupes, or paired with navy, khaki or a pop of red for contrast.
