Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

These have structure through the front with comfort through the back waist.

  • Sue (5'0", UK size 6) wears the UK 8. They sit slightly longer on her frame and feel relaxed but polished.
  • Hil (5'3", UK 10/12) wears the UK 12 in these for a comfortable fit through the waist and hip while maintaining that tailored front look.

Because of the flat front, you want these to sit smoothly across the tummy. The elasticated back gives flexibility, but we’d recommend staying true to size for the cleanest silhouette.

General Rule: With woven fabrics like lyocell that don’t contain stretch, choose your size based on your hip and waist measurement. The elasticated back offers comfort, but the front is designed to look neat.
