Description

The Cynthia Viscose Dress in Ecru is one of those pieces that looks like you found it somewhere warm and unhurried — a small boutique, a perfect holiday, a village market in the sun. The colour is a beautiful rich cream, and running across it in excellent gold detailing is some of the most intricate embroidery you'll find at this price point: ornate medallion and star motifs that cover the V neckline, cascade across the blouson sleeves, and band across the tiered skirt in waves.

The viscose drapes beautifully and the elasticated waist creates shape without ever being fitted. It's fully lined — a lovely touch at this price — though the lining finishes a few inches short of the hemline, which in Hil's view simply means a little extra breathability on the warmest days. Made in India.

One size, fits UK 8 through to UK 14, possibly a 16 depending on your proportions.

Care Instructions

Gentle machine wash or hand wash at 30°C. Wash with similar light colours to protect the cream ground. Do not tumble dry — hang to dry or lay flat. Cool iron if needed.
