  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

The Cayla Skirt has an easy, relaxed fit with lovely movement through the fabric.

• Sue is 5’0” and a standard UK size 6 — she wears the Extra Small. The skirt falls just below Sue’s knees.

• Hil is 5’3” and a standard UK size 10/12 — she wears the Medium. On Hil, the skirt sits around the knee.

If you prefer a neater fit around the waist and hips, stay true to size. If you enjoy a softer, more relaxed feel, you could size up slightly thanks to the easy elasticated waist.

As with most natural cotton pieces, the fabric will soften beautifully with wear over time.
