Description

Rose & Nancy was born in 2023 from a lifelong love of craft. Named after the founder's two grandmothers, Rose Randall and Nancy Russell, who taught her to sew, embroider and knit, it's a female-founded brand built on ethics, small-batch production, and the belief that clothing should be beautiful, considered, and made to last. We are one of very few boutiques in the UK to stock it.

The Bonnie takes the same dramatic silhouette as the Bella and adds silver: hand embellishments and silver fringe that catches every light in the room. Black and silver for a Christmas party, black and silver for New Year's Eve, black and silver for any occasion where you want to arrive and be noticed. Throw it on over something simple and the work is done.

This cape cannot be washed or dry-cleaned. If you get a mark on it, spot clean gently with a damp sponge and leave to dry naturally. Please be aware that, as with all hand-embellished garments, occasional beads or embellishments may drop over time. This is the nature of the piece and not a fault. Store flat or hanging in a cool, dry place.

How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Styling Suggestions

Hil keeps it simple underneath: the Black Colour Lace Cami Vest or the My Essential Wardrobe Modal Top in Black, with the Numph Harbor Trouser in Caviar. Hair piled high, IBU Jewels earrings, bright red lip. Let the cape do everything else. These are less instinctively a Sue piece; the proportions of something this dramatic can overwhelm a smaller frame, but Hil has issued the challenge and fully intends to get Sue into one before the festive season is out.
