How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Hil (5'3", UK 10/12) wears a size 36. She would always wear this shirt tucked in, and the 36 gives her a neat, polished shape without pulling across the shoulders or bust.
Sue (5'0", UK 6) wears a size 34, which gives her that relaxed-but-still-crisp fit she loves. She wears it untucked for an effortless, easy feel.

General Rule: Cotton doesn’t stretch, but it softens beautifully with wear. If you’re between sizes or want a looser, more relaxed silhouette, sizing up is a good option.
