Hil (5'3", UK 10/12) wears the Medium and adores the flattering, vintage-inspired shape. She recommends sizing up if you want it less fitted or plan to layer underneath.
Sue (5'0", UK 6) would choose the Small for a close, cropped fit, but might size up to a Medium for a little more ease and drape.

General Rule: This cardigan fits small and is designed to be
close-fitting. Size up for a more relaxed look or if you prefer a looser fit across the shoulders and bust.
