The Abbie Vintage Skirt in blue is one of those easy, throw-on pieces that still feels beautifully feminine and pulled together. Made from 100% cotton, it has that lovely breathable, natural feel we always look for, with a soft vintage-inspired shape that moves beautifully as you walk.

The elasticated waist makes it especially easy to wear, whether you prefer to style it higher on the waist or lower on the hips, and the length is just so flattering too. On Hil, it sits just below the knee when worn on the waist, while on Sue it falls more mid-calf when worn lower on the hips. It’s relaxed, versatile, and exactly the kind of skirt you’ll keep reaching for through spring and summer.

  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

The Abbie Vintage Skirt comes up easy and flexible thanks to the elasticated waist.

  • Hil is 5'3" and a standard UK 10/12 and wears the S/M comfortably on her waist. If she was feeling a little fuller through the middle and wanted more ease, she’d definitely choose the M/L.
  • Sue is 5'0" and a standard UK 6 and also wears the S/M, but she styles it lower on her hips for a more relaxed, longer look.

General rule: because this is 100% cotton, there’s no added stretch in the fabric itself, but the elasticated waist gives you flexibility where it matters. If you’re between sizes or prefer a little extra ease around the waist, we’d suggest sizing up.
