Hil (5'3", size 10/12, 34EE bust): the high funnel neck is a departure from her usual off-neck rule, but the gathered yoke gives some softness through the bust. She'd size up to an L for room across the chest and let it skim.
Sue (5'0", size 6): an XS will sit beautifully — the gathered neckline reads as a feature rather than swamping her petite frame.

The fabric has a soft drape with no stretch, so go with your usual size unless you need extra room across the bust.
