Description

The Sorbet Necklace from IBU Jewels lives up to its name. A fine gold-plated chain is dotted with hand-selected semi-precious stones in sherbet shades of turquoise, raspberry, tangerine and soft blue, and finished with a hammered gold-plated disc that catches the light beautifully. It fastens with IBU's signature gold-plated button.

It sits comfortably on the upper chest, never tight at the throat, so it works over a white shirt, a fine knit or a simple tee. In summer it's sunshine; in winter it's a little reminder that sunshine is coming.

Every IBU piece is made by hand in a studio nestled among the rice fields of Bali, by a team of Balinese women artisans. IBU means "woman" and "mother" in Indonesian, and the brand was built to give women a fair chance: a fair wage for skilled, beautiful work, and the flexibility to work from the studio or from home so they can care for their children. Every IBU piece in our shop has been handpicked by Sue, our IBU buyer, who is, with love, properly obsessed with the brand.
