The Sonya Beanie from nico has an engineered crown—which is a slightly fancy way of saying that somebody put real thought into the shape of it, and it shows. Where most beanies just sort of happen on your head, the Sonya sits with actual purpose: a structured crown, a fold-over cuff, and a blue-and-beige colourway that manages to feel simultaneously casual and quite considered.

It's made from 53% recycled polyester—which in this case translates to roughly 1.5 recycled plastic bottles per hat. We love a sustainability fact that feels tangible rather than theoretical, and this one very much qualifies.

Machine washable at a cool temperature. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry.
Size Guide

One size. The fold-over cuff means you can adjust how much brim you show—fold it for a neater silhouette or leave it a little looser for more of a slouch.
Why We Love It

The engineered crown is our favourite thing about the Sonya—it gives the kind of shape that makes a beanie look deliberate rather than accidental. Blue and beige is a clever colourway too: versatile enough to work with almost anything, but interesting enough not to disappear entirely. And the recycled credentials mean it earns its place on more than one level.
Styling Suggestions

Hil would fold the cuff neatly, let her gold statement earrings do their usual work underneath, and wear this with a camel or navy coat. The engineered crown is the thing that makes it work for her—it's structured enough to look intentional rather than just functional.

Sue is immediately at home here. Blue and beige is essentially built for her wardrobe—it sits perfectly alongside denim, her neutral vest stack, and everything else she reaches for. She'd wear it slouchy over her hair (always down), with her Keira jeans and stacked boots, and she'd barely take it off from October to March.
