Description

The Prismi is what happens when b.young decide a plain white tee needs just one small, considered flourish — and get it exactly right. The flourish is a fine thread of silver crystal trim running along the shoulder seam on each side: visible only from certain angles, catching the light just so. From a distance, you've got a beautifully clean marshmallow tee. Up close, there's something quietly decorative going on.

The marshmallow shade is the proper one — not stark white, which can read a bit clinical, and not cream, which can go yellow in the wash. Just that perfect, flattering soft white that works against every skin tone and sits quietly underneath absolutely everything without competing. Cut in 100% cotton for proper breathability, in a relaxed, easy fit that earns its place in your wardrobe from July through to December.

How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Hil is a UK 10/12 and wears the Medium. She loves it tucked into high-waisted jeans with her belt at the waist — the shoulder trim catches the light from under a cardigan beautifully.

Sue is a UK 6 and would take the XS (which we have). If XS ever sells out, Small works too — b.young's sizing runs true here.

Generally: the fit is relaxed without being oversized, so go true to your usual size.
Why We Love It

Because everyone needs a proper marshmallow tee and most of the ones we've tried are either too stark, too cream, or too thin. The Prismi is none of those things — properly wearable in weight, beautifully cut, and with just enough shoulder detail to make it feel like something more than a basic. The fact that it goes under absolutely every knit we sell is almost incidental.
Styling Suggestions

Hil's wearing the Medium tucked into her favourite Toxik high-waisted jeans with her belt at the waist — the shoulder trim peeks out from under a cardigan in the best possible way. She'd also reach for it under a blazer for a polished daytime look, or tucked into smart trousers for an evening when she wants comfort without looking like she's given up.

Sue's in the XS, layered under one of her many cardigans (obviously), with the trim just catching the light at the shoulder. Works beautifully with her skinnies, or with a floaty skirt — easy, versatile, and the detail does something lovely every time she moves.
