The Patchouli & Clove Candle from The End of the Avenue is proper autumn-evening territory in a candle — a rich, warming, grown-up scent that fills a room with the earthy depth of patchouli and the spicy warmth of clove. The kind of candle you light when you want your house to feel like a proper considered home.

Hand-poured in Neston in small batches, this candle uses a natural blend of pure beeswax (from hives literally a mile from the shop) and British-grown rapeseed wax, scented only with pure essential oils. No paraffin, no synthetic fragrances, no chemical additives — just clean, natural, hyper-local light.

Both Hil and Sue burn these at home — the Patchouli & Clove is properly good for autumn kitchens, cosy evenings, and any moment that could do with feeling a bit more settled.

Care Instructions
  • Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn — gives you a cleaner flame and longer life
  • Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time
  • Allow the wax to pool fully across the surface on the first burn — this prevents tunnelling
  • Keep away from draughts to prevent uneven burning
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep out of reach of children and pets
  • Natural beeswax may develop a soft white bloom over time — wipe gently with a soft cloth if you wish
