"Olive Night Wash" is doing a lot of work in a small space. It's not just olive (which would be nice on its own) and it's not just washed (which would also be fine) — it's both, which gives the fabric a depth and a slight vintage quality that you don't get from a straight colour. The sort of green that photographs beautifully and looks even better in person, and goes with everything you already own.

The Meta is a zip-up sweat jacket in 100% cotton, cut short and designed to be worn rather than saved for the right occasion. The short length is the key decision: it works over high-waisted jeans without competing with the waistband, sits naturally over leggings for an active look, and layers cleanly under a longer coat without adding bulk. The ribbed cuffs and collarless neckline keep things clean and unfussy — this is a jacket that earns its place rather than demanding it.

Hil is a UK 10/12 and wears the S here — the Meta runs generously as a loose fit, so she’s gone one size down from her usual M. It sits perfectly over her high-waisted Toxik jeans.

Sue is a UK 6 and wears the XS. She’d wear it unzipped over her layered cami situation with her skinnies and chunky trainers.

Generally: the Meta runs on the generous side — we’d suggest going one size down from your usual.
Why We Love It

Because Olive Night Wash is one of those colours that goes with everything and makes everything look considered. The short length is exactly right for high-waisted jeans (it doesn’t fight the waistband), the zip means you can wear it open or closed depending on the day, and the 100% cotton means it breathes properly. Styling Suggestions

Hil's in the S, zipped over a fitted off-neck top with her high-waisted Toxik jeans and belt. The short length sits exactly at the waistband and the olive works beautifully with denim. She’d also layer it under her longer coats as the weather turns.

Sue's in the XS, worn unzipped over her cami layers to show the stack underneath, with her skinnies and chunky trainers. The olive with denim is a combination she will not be tired of any time soon.
