The Louisa Jumper from Suzy D in Lilac is the perfect transitional knit — soft, easy, cut with enough drape to layer through the seasonal turn. The sort of piece you'll reach for on the chilly-but-not-cold mornings, and again on the evenings when summer starts letting go.

Lilac is a grown-up shade: soft, quiet, dusty — not sugar-sweet — a considered lilac that reads beautifully against cream, oatmeal, chocolate, black, denim and grey. Lifts a neutral wardrobe without shouting.

The V-neck is the design detail Hil loves most. Beyond looking elegant, it does what a V-neck should do — separates the boobs and breaks up the top half so a soft knit stays flattering rather than blocky. Add to that a functional front pocket — practical, not decorative — and you've got a considered easy jumper with genuine styling and everyday wins built in.

Fabric-wise: blended for softness and easy wear — 35% viscose, 40% polyamide, 25% microfibre — which gives the piece its lovely soft hand-feel, everyday resilience, and machine-washable practicality. One of those knits that gets thrown on and lived in.

Sizing: cut as a generous one-size that fits comfortably up to a UK size 16. The relaxed shape does the styling work — whether you wear it easy on a size 14–16 frame, or intentionally oversized as a sloppy-joe vibe on a smaller frame like Sue's.
