Description

Tartan, but not as you know it. The Kamma takes a classic check and cuts it on the bias — that diagonal placement is what makes it feel current rather than traditional, and the mesh fabric adds a softness and slight sheerness that keeps the whole thing feeling feminine rather than heavy. Long-sleeved, round-necked and beautifully body-skimming, the 62cm length tucks or wears loose with equal ease.

On its own it's a proper autumn blouse. Under a knit, a blazer or a chunky cardigan, it becomes one of the most useful layering pieces in your wardrobe.

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

Available in S/M, M/L and L/XL. The fabric has good stretch so this is forgiving across sizes. Sue takes S/M; Hil takes S/M for a close fit or M/L for a little more ease when layering. If in doubt, size up — it layers better with a touch of room.

Styling Suggestions

Wear it now under the Bjoerk Patent Knit Cardigan in Camel — the tartan peeking out beneath is a really lovely combination. With jeans and ankle boots it's a complete autumn look in two pieces. Hil tucks hers into wide-leg trousers with a belt; Sue layers hers under one of her many Black Colour knits with her Keira jeans and stacked boots. A cami underneath if you prefer less sheerness — it works beautifully either way.
