Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

  • Hil (5'3", UK 10/12, 34EE bust): would take the 38. Shirts and a generous bust mean she'd rather size up than risk a gaping button — a 40 if she wanted a more relaxed, layering fit.
  • Sue (5'0", UK 6): would take the 34, very probably with the cuffs rolled.
  • Sizing conversion: b.young uses Danish/EU sizing. As a guide: 34 = UK 8, 36 = UK 10, 38 = UK 12, 40 = UK 14.
