The Jaiden Dress from b.young in Nebulas Blue Stripe is a properly lovely little dress — a wrap-style mini in a soft periwinkle-blue base with fine vertical striping throughout. Feminine, easy, brilliantly wearable from summer into early autumn.

The design is where this piece earns its £50. A flattering V-neck wrap silhouette that ties at the waist to give you exactly the shape you want, short softly-gathered puff sleeves for a properly considered romantic detail, and a ruffled flounce hem running diagonally across the wrap — the little movement in the skirt is what lifts this dress from plain to properly pretty.

The Nebulas Blue Stripe colour is a lovely dusty periwinkle — bluer than a chambray, softer than a cornflower — with fine vertical pinstripes throughout that give the dress quiet depth and length. Works with tan sandals, white trainers, chunky boots or heels. Endless.

Made in a cotton-blend woven fabric (part of b.young's Nebulas Blue Stripe capsule, which uses a 40% cotton blend) — light enough for warm-weather wear, structured enough for the wrap-tie waist to hold its shape properly.

One sizing note worth flagging: the dress runs a touch small, so we recommend sizing up. Currently only the 38 is in stock (with the 36 and 40 both sold out) — which happens to be the perfect size-up for our petite frames given the fit.
