The Kaia Boho Shorts from b.young — the Danish brand for laid-back, properly-cut basics — share their moody Meteorite Boho print with the Kaia Trouser we already love, just rolled up into a mid-thigh, easy-to-wear shorts shape. Loose relaxed fit, elastic waistband, drawstring closure. The kind of shorts you pull on in the morning and forget you're wearing.

The fabric is 83% viscose and 17% polyamide — soft, fluid, with the lovely drape viscose is famous for and just enough polyamide for shape retention. Not crisp, not stiff, just easy. Both Hil and Sue properly love these, which is your cue.

How to Measure Yourself Correctly

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

  • Hil (UK 10/12, 5'3"): takes the EU 40. The elastic waistband and drawstring mean the fit is comfortable across in-between days, and the relaxed cut skims the thigh rather than cutting in.
  • Sue (UK 6, 5'0"): takes the EU 36. Easy on her petite frame, with the mid-thigh length sitting flatteringly above the knee.
  • General note: viscose drapes beautifully and softens with wear; the elasticated waistband and drawstring give you flexibility on sizing if you're between.
Why We Love It
