Description

The Gaynor's cleverest trick — two outfits in one piece — looks even better in plum. Wear the shirred elasticated top pulled up under the arms and you've got a strapless bandeau dress with real movement and a gorgeous tiered hem. Settle it at the waist and you've got a floor-skimming maxi skirt that goes with virtually everything you're about to start reaching for.

The print is the star: a deep, rich plum with a warm rust and orange ikat-style diamond woven through it — autumn's palette, done beautifully. Lightweight viscose that catches the breeze, packs into nothing, and looks considerably more considered than it has any right to.

Care Instructions

Machine wash at 30° on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry — hang to dry and the viscose will drop beautifully back into shape.

Achieve the perfect fit by following these simple measurement steps:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

One size. The shirred panel stretches generously and works comfortably from a UK 8 through to a UK 14. Hil (5'3", UK 10/12, 34E bust) wears it as a strapless dress as shown — and it looks brilliant. Equally gorgeous settled at the waist as a maxi skirt with a cami or roll neck tucked in as the temperature drops. Sue (5'0", UK 6) wears it as a dress with chunky trainers or boots and her usual layers thrown over.
