This dress has a stretchy shirred bodice, so it offers more flexibility through the bust and waist than many fitted dresses.

  • Sue (5'0", UK size 6) would wear the size 8 for a comfortable, relaxed fit.
  • Hil (5'3", UK size 10/12) would wear the size 10, as the shirring gives plenty of stretch while still shaping the waist.

There is a little extra boob room in this style, thanks to the stretch through the bodice, making it especially flattering if you’re fuller on top.

General Rule (for Cotton): Cotton is breathable and comfortable, and the shirred panel stretches beautifully while holding its shape.
