The Anie Shirt in Country Air is one of those easy, pretty pieces that quietly does a lot of work in your wardrobe. In a soft pale blue, it has a fresh, light feel that’s perfect for spring and summer, but it will layer beautifully under knitwear and jackets later on too.   • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, just above your navel.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feed together.

Ensure the tape measure is snug, but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

The Anie Shirt is designed in a regular fit, so it sits neatly without feeling tight or overly structured.

  • Hil is 5'3" and a standard UK size 10/12. She wears the Small in this.
  • Sue is 5'0" and a standard UK size 6. She wears the XS.

Because of the relaxed, fluid shape, we’d suggest staying with your usual size if you want that easy skim over the body. If you prefer a neater fit, some may choose to size down, but if you like a little extra room through the body for a breezier feel, stick with your normal size.

General rule: with woven fabrics like this, there isn’t lots of stretch in the cloth itself, so choose the size that gives you the ease you want across the shoulders and bust.
