  • Hil (5'3", UK 10/12, carries weight on her tummy): Takes the S-M — the drawstring waist sits forgivingly at the natural waistline, no buttons to wrestle with on a full-stomach day.
  • Sue (5'0", UK 6, petite): Wears the XS-S. The midi length lands closer to maxi on her — which she rather likes. She'll often layer a fitted vest underneath.
  • General fit note: Black Colour uses a relaxed, generous sizing — if you fall between, size down. The polyester drapes beautifully and doesn't stretch but skims rather than clings.
